“My parents are out; but here is the mosquito net we received from recent distribution,” the boy said, while proudly showing the Long Lasting Insecticide-treated Net (LLIN) during an on-site validation of the mosquito distribution in Palawan Province. This and other mosquito nets they have will protect their entire family against the debilitating and life-threatening effects of malaria. Moreover, LLIN and the insecticide-treated conventional mosquito nets will help in controlling the population of malaria vectors, which is one of the crucial aspects of malaria elimination.
The Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI), with the grant from Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) for Movement Against Malaria project and with its implementing partners, aims to help in the fight to eliminate malaria in the country. PSFI now shares its successes and gains to 39 other provinces from the pioneering public-private mix in the fight of malaria in the country, the Kilusan Ligtas Malaria, which it co-created in 1999 in the province of Palawan – the area that contributed more than 50% of malaria cases and deaths in the Philippines.

This is better than the other entry u sent, in terms of "photo language". However, by merely looking at this picture without reading the description, can we probably say there is an end to poverty? I believe, PSFI has a bunch of good captures in the community...we are also advocating for the elimination of malaria scourge. I suggest for pix in a utilized LLIN in the community or the LLIN distribution with the sea gypsies, like the Bajao of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi. They are eye catching in pix. Fishing is a pathway to end poverty without malaria impediment.
